The Ireland Funds

We would like to sincerely thank the Ireland Funds and its donors for the generous support received under the Heart of the Community Fund 2022.

It was of tremendous benefit to our organisation and enabled us to invest in remedial measures to make our facility more energy efficient and reduce our carbon footprint. As a small community museum we would not have been able to undertake this work and it has made our facilities more comfortable for our service users and customers.

The Ireland Funds is a global philanthropic network established in 1976. The Ireland Funds’ vision is of peace, equality and opportunity across the island of Ireland and among Irish communities worldwide.

The Heart of the Community Fund is an open grant round designed to meet the needs of not-for-profit organisations delivering vital services and supports to people across the island of Ireland. The Ireland Funds recognises the challenges organisations face in securing funding to build their capacity or meet their core costs, so the Heart of the Community Fund provides Organisational Investment Grants to all sectors of the community.
