Neil Brosnan will launch his new collection of short stories The Loft Window & Other Stories on Friday November 28th in Kerry Writers’ Museum at 7:30pm. The book will be launched by Ned O’Sullivan, Chairman of Listowel Writers’ Week.
The Loft Window, published by Savoy Editions, an imprint of the Limerick Writers’ Centre, explores themes of family and personal growth against the backdrop of rural life. It is a book that exhibits a distinctive quality of writing, which delves into the relationships between characters, marked by rich imagery and attention to emotional detail. Neil Brosnan brings us a narrative voice that is exceptionally authentic. His stories reflect the complexities of human relationships and the bittersweet essence of memory.
Neil Brosnan is a multi-award winner and Pushcart nominee, he has been writing for about 25 years. First published in 2004 – aged fifty – his stories can now be found in print and digital magazines and anthologies in Ireland, UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Latin America, Australia and India. The holder of All-Ireland and World Fleadh Cheoil medals for songwriting; this is his third collection of short stories.
