We are delighted to announce the return of a major literary celebration in the heart of Listowel with the launch of Listowel Literary Festival, taking place from May 28th to June 1st, 2025. Building on Listowel’s reputation as Ireland’s literary capital, the festival will bring together a stellar lineup of nationally and internationally renowned authors, while also placing a strong spotlight on writers from Kerry, affirming Kerry Writers’ Museum’s commitment to supporting local literary voices.
The festival marks a landmark collaboration between Listowel’s three leading cultural institutions – Kerry Writers’ Museum, Listowel Writers’ Week, and St. John’s Theatre and Arts Centre – who have come together to deliver a compelling programme that celebrates the written and spoken word.
