Bríd Ní Loinsigh, Kerry native and Abbey actress

A contemporary of Maura and Eamon Kelly, Siobhan McKenna, and Eamon Keane, Bríd Ni Loinsigh, or Brid Lynch, was a native of Kinneigh, near Waterville. Acclaimed as one of the best actresses of the 20^th century, she enjoyed a 30-year career with the Abbey repertory company. The lecture, presented by Theatre Historian Dr. Fiona Brennan, will focus on this Kerry woman’s contribution to theatre and her Abbey career.
