UPCOMING Event
Samhain Story House
DATE
October 30th 2026
On Friday 30 October 2026, families are invited to step into The Samhain Story House at Kerry Writers’ Museum – a welcoming, imaginative space where children and grown-ups can enjoy the magic of Irish storytelling and seasonal traditions together.
Gather around for lively Samhain stories and tales of the Otherworld, bringing to life some of the characters, customs and folklore associated with this ancient Irish festival. Then roll up your sleeves and join our family-friendly craft workshops, where children can get creative and make their own Samhain-inspired creations to take home.
Whether you love a good spooky story, enjoy getting crafty, or simply want to experience a fun and atmospheric family afternoon together, there will be something for everyone. Come along in your Halloween costumes if you like, bring your imagination, and discover the magic of Samhain through stories, creativity and family fun.
Part of Samhain Chiarraí – A Kerry Halloween 2026.
Time – 2 to 4 pm, Tickets – €10.00
A magical Samhain afternoon for families — come for the stories, stay for the crafts!
