Book Launch: Line Drawing

Join us on Saturday October 10th at 3.30 pm for the launch of Line Drawing, the debut collection of poetry by Athea-based poet Kay Liston.
Kay has lived in Ireland since 1979 and put down roots in Athea in 1984. A retired youth worker and respite carrer, Kay has always written, but in 2019 she finally gave herself the time and permission to take it more seriously. Joining a writing group in Listowel opened up a wonderful community of writers and friends. Their encouragement and shared love of writing gave Kay the confidence to begin sharing her work and, eventually, to bring Line Drawing together.
Kay hopes that anyone who reads the book will find poems that speak to them in some way, perhaps bringing back a memory, a feeling or a moment of their own. The launch will be a very special occasion for Kay, shared with some of her great friends, who will perform readings from the collection and provide music throughout the event.
All are welcome to attend.
